"Another Pleasant Valley Sunday/Here in status symbol land"
Another excursion out into the country in preparation for the virtual Cinderella Classic. This ride starts in Fairfield and takes in the beautiful Pleasants Valley Road through orchards and vineyards almost all the way to Winters. We’ll stop for a bite before heading south to Cantelow Road, a beautiful climb with a short 10% grunt at the top. Then it’s a glorious descent back to Pleasants Valley Road, taking in the reverse view back to Fairfield.
Bring snacks and plenty of water. Either bring a bag lunch or plan to get some takeout in Winters, which is the only location with services after Fairfield. (The traditional stop in Winters is
Steady Eddy's but I hear the burritos at
El Pueblo Meat Market are excellent.)
Please check the weather report beforehand and dress accordingly.
Meet at 9:15 am
Roll out at 9:30 am
Start Location: 276 Dahlia St., Fairfield CA
(Please park on the street, not in the driveway.)
