Welcome!
Welcome to the Marin Marauder's Progressive Sunday Rides Training Series. The Spring Fling Progressive rides are designed to get you ready for whatever ride you have scheduled. We start off with smaller rides and build each week until you are riding over 100 miles a day and climbing like a pro. If you take part in this series you will most certainly be ready for just about any ride! Not only are the rides epic, but the scenery and the people are too. We are a warm and welcoming inclusive group of cyclist of all ages and shapes.

The Route
The 9th ride in our series takes us over familiar territory out to Fairfax, where we take a brief stop to top up our water bottles, because from here, we take Bolinas Road and begin climbing over to stunning Alpine Dam. After a rest and a few obligatory selfies at the Dam, we’ll continue climbing through the trees (and a switchback or two) to reach Ridgecrest Road and the joy (I may have lied a little right there) of the seven sisters. At the Rock Springs parking lot, we have the option of the highly rewarding 6 mile out-and-back to the peak of Mount Tam, or, heading immediately on the descent to Mill Valley. Either way, we’ll regroup at Joe’s Taco Shop in Mill Valley, for a celebration of the days achievement. A short ride over Camino Alto (which will seem like a mere inconvenience after the days earlier climbs) will bring us back to our start.
