The Route
AWESOME AHEAD Season 13 Ride #2 - Off into the Foothills. Getting our feet wet in urban traffic is the name-of-the-game today as we do a loop into the Los Altos Hills off of Foothill Expressway. We’ll get a chance to try out our gears on the hills around Foothill College and be rewarded with a fun downhill on Fremont Road. Lots of opportunities to practice “safety first” Cycle to Zero habits as we get used to sharing the road with cars and other cyclists.

Meet at 9:15 a.m. with a ride out at 10:00 am at the Starbucks parking lot at 1291 S. Mary Ave at Fremont in Sunnyvale.

Helmet, water bottles, tubes, pump/CO2, sunscreen, butt butter and snacks. Remember to LUBE your chain, PUMP your tires, and RECHARGE your lights, bike computer, and electronic shifters if you have them.
