The Route
Note that, despite the title, this is not a class! This ride is simply a chance for those of you who are interested in getting their gravel-capable tires a bit dirty to come out and get a low pressure tasting of gravel riding. I will share some of my thoughts on how to approach riding off pavement and then we will set off for Tennessee Valley beach with a short side excursion up Rodeo Valley trail (a dirt road) to get ourselves warmed up. We will ascend Bobcat trail (a dirt road) before descending to Tennessee Valley on Marincello Trail (also a dirt road), and out to Tennessee Beach before returning to our start by the same route. There will be opportunity to add 300' to 800' of additional climbing if you wish.

Sweeps: Yes. Regroups may happen as riders wish, and you can always just wait for the sweep, but faster riders should feel free to ride at their own pace.
